A Trip to the History Museum

Last Wednesday, my class went to the history museum. The museum has exhibits from ancient times to the present. We saw old tools, clothes, and weapons. My favorite exhibit was the ancient Chinese pottery. The pots were colorful and had beautiful patterns. A guide told us they were made 2,000 years ago. We also saw a mummy from Egypt. It was wrapped in white cloth. I felt a little scared but fascinated. We watched a video about how people lived in ancient times. It was interesting to see how different life was then. We made clay pots in the craft room. I decorated mine with red and blue patterns. Before leaving, I bought a small model of an ancient pot. The history museum taught me about the past. I now understand how people lived and how things have changed. I want to go back to see the new exhibit about dinosaurs.
