A Rainy Day Doing Yoga with My Mom
Last Saturday, it rained heavily, so my mom taught me to do yoga at home. She said yoga can help me relax and keep fit. We spread yoga mats on the floor and played soft music. At first, I couldn’t do the poses well— the “lotus pose” made my legs hurt, and the “downward dog” made my back stiff. Mom said, “Breathe deeply and don’t push yourself too hard.” I followed her advice and tried again. We did yoga for an hour. After that, I felt relaxed and my body was not so tense. We drank hot tea and talked about my school life. This rainy day activity taught me that yoga is a good way to relax. Spending time with mom doing something healthy is very enjoyable.
